How come every story on Phandroid about DInc ends with a question mark?

Have you guys noticed this? It's like the DInc stories are all rumors wtf?

Is There Truth to the Early August Window for Droid Incredible

Well that's because, technically, they ARE all rumors...

Neither HTC nor Verizon have confirmed anything regarding the mysterious OTA or Froyo for the Incredible.

Something like this...Tera has had her Dinc a week? :D

Almost... 1 week tomorrow. I am such a noob :)

Sadly I already know more about this phone, and Android, than the majority of my Android friends! Which pretty much means that I spend WAY too much time here...

It's sad when I look at someone else's phone, with stock launcher and icons, and think to myself "my god that's so boring!"

It's one of the reasons that I hate the iPhone. There is just no customization to it. Your phone looks exactly like everyone else's phone. That and it's totally cluttered. Do you really need access to your toilet paper game right there on the main screen?

Because there pretty much is no official info and the info that is "leaked" is usually wrong. Even some of the more "shoot from the hip" blogs are doing the "?" thing now or some other caveat.

VZW really seems to suck in regards to Inc marketing:

1. Lack of information
2. Lack of clarity on the amoled / lcd transition (perhaps intentional)
3. Design the USB in a POOR location, unless a dock is coming out, which it apparently is not.
4. Though I appreciate the amoled display, putting it on the Inc in the first place, when it was already obvious amoled displays may be constrained due to the global roll-out of Samsung devices. Not to mention amoled's higher than lcd fallout rate in production.
5. Poor add-on awareness. Case in point, the extended battery and lack of covers for this.

Luv my Dinc, but seems VZW dropped the ball with the product and perhaps has their hands too full releasing so many devices in a short span of time. Perhaps the root cause are the amoled issues that sped up the launch plans for the Moto products. I think this fits, since now Moto is low on channel flow for X's. Probably launched a month too early.

#3 and 4 are all HTC's doing. But the others are VZW's lack of effort.

Yea your right I just saw Verizon tech support at the bottom and didn't even read the names sorry guys.
