How do I add a battery % to my droid bar?

here is a screenshot. the battery % on the upper left is from "Battery Left" (i dont normally use that, but that's the easiest way to display battery % for an inexperienced user)
that is the same app that made the battery widget on the bottom left as well. there are other apps that display differently. this is just an example of one, but at least it display's to the 1%.
the top right battery is from the ApeX 1.3 rom.

and this is Tranquility 3.6 it has the circle battery indicator

hi thanks for responding...i have my dx rooted but not with custom roms...i also checked the screenshot page and i didn't see anyone with their battery percentage like the shot i posted...any idea if he's got some custom thing going on?

also does the dx only report in 10%s?

i believe that is nextheme. depending on what version you have installed, it is really simple to install. and, to be honest, i am not sure how stock dXs report battery. it has been 4 months since i was on a stock rom.

hey guys thanks again for responding. my question is whether the dx is capable of displaying a battery % that isn't x0%. as for the other changes is there another less intrusive way to do this? i like to keep my dx without too much custom stuff so i can update easily

No, the DX measures and reports battery status in 10% increments (except for 15% and 5%, it will report those). Any battery widget or whatever that reports anything more than 10% increments is using estimates.

The least intrusive way is using something like Battery Left, which sund0wn posted, which will put the battery percentage in the upper left area of the status bar. That's the only way to do it that doesn't involve modifying your phone.

you are going to have to use metamorph or ninja morph to get anything like that (i personally havn't seen anything like the one you posted...that actually looks like a tablet or computer displaying the new market)

it is fairly easy tho, get the images on your sd card, do into MM or NM, and replace the original files in the system.
