Help How do I add a widget

I can seem to find where I can add a widget to any of my screens. I don't have the add app or widget Icon I've seen people talk about. Any suggestions?

Should be a widget tab where your apps are at

You can also do that by long pressing your home screen which will bring up the same app/widget list.

Most of apps that you downloaded will create their own widget and add it to the widget section in the app drawer. Some will even provide various sizes of widget.
