How do I add music?

Is there a specific app? I was thinking either through the SD card or USB cable. But, where would I put the files in? I can't seem to find a directory labeled MUSIC.

I am using the Google Music player and stream from my Google music library. I have a couple albums in the /mnt/sdcard/ in case I have no signal and need to listen to something. I've used a couple players and they all either search or ask for the location of the media.

Uhm.. Just create a folder on the root of your SD card called Music and put all your mp3s in there.

It's in the "media" folder on your SD card. I do the drag n' drop method.

A lot of apps will just let you pick the location of your music files.

• Root and install App2SD
• Clear /data/tombstones/ for extra space
• Check Amazon's free app of the day daily
• Get used to no flash player
• On one of your home screens add the power control widget to easily toggle airplane mode, helpful if you're getting no data connectivity.
• Check out an alternative launcher (Go Launcher or Launcher Pro or ADW are the most popular) to get 5 buttons on the bottom instead of 3.
• Enjoy your sweet inexpensive toy.

That's so true for any device. All it takes is some reading.

After I learned you need a Music folder for your files. I found out the best way to organize your Music and get the Album Artwork to show.

SD> Music> Create new folder with an Album Title (i.e Angles)> Your mp3 files in here, along with the album artwork (i.e. Angles.jpeg)

Create a new folder for every album you want in your Android.

That's how I have them set up on my pc's music drive for my Sonos system. If I ever wanted to listen to music on the cell, I can just drag the folders over. Sooo much easier!
