Help how do i back up

just received an update from TMobile for my vibrant. How do i back up just to be safe before i download it?

just received an update from TMobile for my vibrant. How do i back up just to be safe before i download it?

You could hook the phone up to a computer, mount the SD cards and copy the contents of both to a folder on you computer. However, you can't simply copy everything back once you've updated. Things like documents, pictures and music are fine to put back on the phone if need be, but don't copy over anything with system settings to the updated phone as it could cause problems.
