Root How do I check if I'm S-OFF or not?

I recently tried to S-OFF and I succeeded within the 5th try but I can't tell if I'm truly S-OFF and I don't want to risk flashing Leslie's radio fix until I'm sure.

Is there a way to check, perhaps through an adb command?

Just go into hboot and it'll say toward the top of the screen if it's like any other HTC. So power off phone, then press and hold volume down, then also press and hold the power button.

Ah, I did see the S-OFF on the top of the screen in hboot but I did not know if that was a definite way of confirming if my EVO V is now S-OFF or not.

And after gaining s-off you'll notice that your bootloader was relocked, doesn't matter #-off overrides that and allows you to flash anything. It's really just a housecleaning issue, if it bothers you all you need to do is push the unlock token to the phone again. No need to go back to htcdev, the token is unique to your phone and never expires.
