Root How do I downgrade back to 2.2

I was stupid and upgraded to 2.2.1 and now my phone is all messed up. Can i downgrade back to 2.2? if so how?

i fixed his problem hes rooted with 2.2.1 and he said hes flashing the cm7 beta android 2.3.3
