How do I get Android 2.1 to read a flash drive

Bought a tablet running Android 2.1 and attached a flash drive to it. How and where do I read it? Thanks.

Same question, I just bought Zenithik and when I put pen-drive in it shows processing and showes "lost" direcotpry but none of the original files or directories. It added the lost directory though. may be due ti stick file format, it was used on VISA PC original and can be read still on VISTA and the new "lost" dirrctory is shown but if I save to"lost" it still does not show when plugged into e-pad
