How to impress your friends: 40+ voice searches on Jelly Bean - YouTube

Launch Google Now and give it a command. I did everyone he did. For the most part results were the same. My phone didn't do GOOG no matter how many times I said it. It didn't realize I wanted Google stocks.

To respond further to your question, he never made the call in this video. His command was to call the Drake Hotel in Toronto and then he subtlety hit the X and went onto another command.

Hi. . Thanks for the response. I see what you mean, but it was starting to dial. Every pre-jelly bean phone had the same ability to do that ..I was using it on my note 1 just fine. Is it a Samsung thing? Ill post a video of both note 1 and note 2. I can't believe I'm the only one missing it.

I was able to get some but not the "turn off wifi" mine says "sorry, device features are not yet supported"

It says that for a system stuff. It won't turn on bt either.
The phone call works. I said call (any name here) and it did, But where he X'd out on the video, I didn't. Google Now call the correct person.

Ok, so I went into search settings and unchecked 'contacts'. But when the capll command sounds like an existing caller it still will pull in their name. Any way, I restarted my phone and it now dials the number. Now, I'm a note 2 loyalist. Loving this phone.
