Help How do I get rid of google voice completely...

and go back to stock voicemail? I uninstalled google voice, had my bro call me and google voice still takes the message.

Help!!!

Edit: found it...dial *38 and that removes google voice as your voicemail.

I'm sure peeps who like google voice won't understand why I don't want it...so I'll tell you. I don't want it for the same reason I don't like Windows Live calendar...the notification method.

With Windows Live calender you don't get a pop up reminder for an appointment, etc. Instead they send you an email. Google voice seems to be doing the same thing. Instead of a simple notification in my notification bar google voice sends me an email to let me know I have a voicemail. Hate that!

Anyway, now I have it back how I want it!

It wasn't automatic. I set it up myself, messed with it and found I didn't like it. If Sprint switches I'll try to find another app. I don't want an email to tell me I have a voicemail.

you can change the settings on how you are notified.
