Help How do I get this damn battery out???

I've successfully removed the battery door and cannot get this battery out. I want to do a pull because my phone will not stay connected to the mobile network for more than a few minutes. I am connected to wifi right now. Everything online just says turn it over and give it a tap and it should pop out, but nothin!

i had to take the phone with the battery opening facing down and kinda slap it into the palm of my hand and it slid out.
