How do I identify UID 10023 ?

Chaps,

Very occasionally I see much higher-than-normal battery usage. A reboot always sorts it but I always like to know what my phone is up-to so I always try and run Spare Parts and look at the Partial Wake Usage.

Every time I see an entry quite near the top of the list for "UID 10023". Even when my battery usage is normal I have an entry for this UID in my PWU (it's 2nd in the list to Mail at the moment) but when the battery drains quickly it is usually number 1.

Is there a way to work-out what this UID is? Is there a way to remove it?

Phone is completely stock (O2 branded) Froyo - I could root and re-flash but I've never felt the need.

Anybody know ?

I've run with Activity Express for quite a while (running it as often as I can and checking the list for UIDs), I've never seen the UID on any running processes. It only appears in partial-wake so I can only assume it is something that runs briefly or is marked as something other than "running" when it's resident.

I'm guessing UIDs are assigned to apps as they're installed sequentially. My Music app has UID 10024 so I can only assume whatever it is in on the ROM too so I suspect I couldn't uninstall it (without rooting) even if I identify it. I suppose it's only once in a while that it causes a problem...

If anyone has any other ideas Id love to hear them.

Thanks to SUroot and Matt for trying, though.
