Help How do I install froyo?

Hi, I have the htc wildfire with o2, its pay and go. I would like to know how do I install froyo on it? Got the phone for christmas and am new to all this. I have andriod 2.1 on my phone now. Could anyone help me on how to install froyo please. Its not rooted or anything.

everything ging ok
DO NOT REMOVE THE BATTERY

make sure you wait it can take a very long time i know someone who took the battery out because it was taking too long. ended up with a paperweight lol
