Root How do I install roms and keep my apps?

I hate having to redownload my apps and re-configure my email between roms. Is there a way to back them up and intall them a faster way? Trying the bugless beast today. Hopefully better than the cyanogenmod. Cyanogen seems slow.

That is the way to go. As for your email and other system settings, take a few extra minutes and set them from scratch. New ROMs will have new settings for you to discover and you will also avoid problems doing system settings with a fresh start. Been there and done that many times.
