Help How do I lower the light level?

5tevie

Newbie
Hi again,
I downloaded Akilbo (or something like that) to allow me to read books in ePub format on my Galaxy Note 10.1. Only snag is that I could save ships at sea with the power of the light that comes out of the screen. This is not the normal Note screen, just the screen when I turn the App on to start reading.
Any clues appreciated,
Steve

Bring the settings up and there should be a brightness setting. Haven't got my Note to hand so tested on the Nexus 7, had to tap the middle of the screen while reading a book to bring up the toolbar which includes a settings button.

If you swipe up at the bottom right of your screen, there is a box with a lot of handy short cut buttons. On it is a brightness bar that you can adjust the brightness.

Bad news.
Still shining so bright that it hurts my eyes to look at the screen.
Please remember that it isn't the brightness of the Note's screen when using any other App. It's only when using Aldiko (I can spell it right now, lol)
Any help appreciated.

It's an Aldiko setting then. Just look through the settings or contact the dev.
