Help How do I make all my contacts 'google' contacts?

Question!

I've been playing with other ROMs lately, and I'm having problems restoring my contacts on non-sense roms.

Only a fraction of my contacts are 'google' contacts - a lot are backed up through verizon or are stored on the phone.

How can I make all my contacts 'google' contacts, so that when I boot up in a non-sense rom, I can get all my contacts back simply by linking my phone with google?

Thanks!

* Stop sync with your Google account before doing this.
1. Clean up a Google account (either make a new list dedicated for phone numbers / phone usage, or simply clean up all the emails you have on your contacts).
2. Go to your phonebook (I've been on custom ROMs for awhile so I don't remember the app name...). Open up the menu, go to the "display options" or its equivalent (...list?).
3. Export to csv. USB-connect, put it on your computer; dropbox it; ...
4. Import into your Google account. If you're putting it into your general contacts list, merge/delete/clean up.
5. Double-check your contacts...
6. Delete all your contacts on your phone.
7. Turn on sync with your Google account.
8. Yay.
