Root how do i remove clockwork recovery so i can update

how do i remove clockwork recovery so i can update to 2.3.5 i've already unrooted..just cant seem to get ride of clockwork

uninstall the bootstrap.

That's interesting. The CW "should" not affect the update since it's an app.
The acutal recovery console (power - X) should not activate without root either. Have you tried just going into ALL apps and finding it and uninstalling?

Next best is just SBF the update or update.zip (like I did)

thanks ended up flashing SBF then updated and rerooted
