Help How do i root it???

Can't find out any way to root my huawei p10 lite WAS-LX1A, Android Version 8.0
Its very slow and i'd have a nice usage for it but that wont work without rooting it ): my tab s2 was so simple via pc but cant figure out how to do it on that phone...

why would you say that? that is for the op to consider. i used to root my phones every chance i get. lately i have not as most of the reasons i root to begin with have been addressed by the manufacturers.

i can understand with more low end models, why you would want to root it.

do you want to give us your reason why you said not to root the phone?

  • Rooting can go wrong and turn your phone into a useless brick. Thoroughly research how to root your phone. ...
  • You will void your warranty. ...
  • Your phone is more vulnerable to malware and hacking. ...
  • Some rooting apps are malicious. ...
  • You might lose access to high-security apps.

valid reasons for sure. but i wanted the op to say it. you can't just say don't root the phone without an explanation. the main thing before you root anything is to do your research first and not jump into it. are there risks to rooting? for sure, but that should not prevent someone from rooting.

So will I still get rooted it by any chance? I wrote in a Huawei thread where some people seemed to ask for exactly that code will I get a response from Huawei by any chance?

so the link to the code does not work? i clicked on it and it took me to a huawei site and i needed to enter a huawei id which i do not own a huawei device so i could not go further.

I tried it with my Huawei ID, and it didn't work for me. Although my Huawei ID is for China, not international.

I have a Huawei Mate10 on Nihao Mobile. This phone is very similar to the P10, but the firmware on mine was changed to HarmonyOS, rather than Android. And I have no intention of trying to root it.
