Help how do i set a mp3 as my incoming message tone?

Hi i have installed tone picker and thought i could set my mp3 as a incoming message but when i set mp3 as notification it only plays the mp3 as delivery report after i have sent a message and not when i recieve a incoming message

what am i doing wrong?

The way you can do it without tone picker, is by the going into the pic icon next to the phone text at the bottom of the screen and then going to the bottom of that list to ringtone. Within that you should see at the top "New Ringtone" Click that, and it should show you the listed mp3's you have within the music folder. Choose to set.

Or, in music player, select the song you want, then menu > more > select as ringtone. It'll then ask phone (for every call) or contact (for a particular person in your contacts)
