How do I set default music app for Vlingo?

I'm having an annoying problem with the Samsung Vlingo app. I have Poweramp set as my default music app for the phone, but when launching music from Vlingo ("play music"), it resorts to the stock music player. Has anyone found a way around this?

I had exactly that issue, so I asked them. They said it isn't possible at present but blah blah blah...
