Hi, i got a sony x10 a yr ago that went bezerk so a short while later i got a samsung captivate.
One thing i could do on the sony though.....very easily....was hook my phone up to the usb and computer and the software would sync all the photos and videos etc...and it would pop up with a warning if i had content still on the phone from previous syncs...it would warn me "do i want to sync only new items on the phone or everything including items synced before"....
...it was effortless...i would leave some things i wanted on my phone and would sync only new stuff....
...but i can never figure out how i can do that on the captivate? Kies always asks me if i want to sync and i cannot find a option or tick box or whatever that will do only new content. So kies in essence each time syncs everything and i end up with multiple copies of the same pics or vids.....................sigh
i am almost at the point where after i sync i will delete everything on my phone so that at next sync it is obvious i will sync all...but that is silly....
..how do i get kies to copy only the new vids and pics from the phone ?
