Help How do I type with physical keyboard?

I can type the ♥ symbol with the on screen keyboard on my Droid 3 but I can not figure out how to type it on the physical keyboard.

go to http://copypastecharacter.com/all-characters

copy the hearts and paste them into a file and save them. Then you can just PASTE hearts into any text you are typing. They will stay in clipboard to paste as long as phone isn't turned off or something else is copied...
