Help How do I uninstall android 2.2?

Can someone please tell me how to remove android 2.2 and go back to android 2.1? I

Anyhow, once its upgraded, you can't simply uninstall the update. You have to reflash the entire phone.

The good news is that you may be able to downgrade. However, this will more than likely require you to root your phone. But we can't give procedures on how if we have no idea what your phone is.

Yea, you cant simply remove a firmware update like that. You would have to root, then install an RUU from 2.1, and even that may not work properly.

Man it's awful; my favorite apps don't work anymore. Most importantly the predictive text does not work at all anymore, presumably because there is no dictionary or a way to add words. Very disappointed.

Any suggestions for finding or adding a dictionary please help.

P.s. the speech to text function is now at about 20% accuracy, down from at least 80% accuracy.
