How do I uninstall/delete a stock ROM from my Nexus 5

I have a Google Play edition Nexus 5 with cwm and cyanogenmod 11 installed. I only bought the 16gb version and I want to delete the stock ROM that is taking up most of the space. As you know, you are unable to insert an SD Card anywhere in the phone so that can not be an option. PLEASE HELP!!

You can't delete the stock ROM--if you've installed CyanogenMod, then you have already replaced the stock ROM--it's no longer there since CM11 is there instead.

And yes, there is no external SD card for the Nexus 5...it's all internal to the device, although there will be a portion that is designated as the "SD card" but is actually allocated from the the internal memory.

Then how can I possibly clear up my storage. I only have 1.17gb apps, 110mbmb, 1.27gb audio, 195MB downloads, 4.78mb cached data, 416mb misc. That can't possibly be 16gb

Is there a nandroid backup of the stock rom there? It would be a really big dated folder I think. If so you should back it up to a pc before deleting it. (A nandroid backup is like a image of the entire phone which allows the phone to be restored to its previous state. It should have been made before cyanogenmod was flashed to the phone.

Install an app called diskusage which gives a graphical view of memory use - its good for spotting big files.

I did make a backup of the phone before cyanogenmod. But I don't recall putting the nandroid backup on my PC. The only other place it could be is the phone correct?

I also cannot even find a folder by the name of nandroid. Even under the folder clockworkmod since that's the custom recovery I have. Please help fast!

I don't own an N5 (yet--it's been ordered) but you should be able to find it with a rooted file explorer (Root Explorer, ES File Explorer in root mode, etc.). I don't believe you can find it without having root or at least I can't see my CWM backup son my N7 without a root browser or exploring the filesystem via and adb shell.

The important point is that CWM should know where your Nandroid backup is...try booting back into recovery and seeing if the backup in question is present (you might want to save your current setup if you have enough space--although that seems to be the root of your issue, no?).
