Help how do i unsync this?

Hi,

I have a HTC Desire Z and my problem is that my girlfriend's brother listed her phone number on his facebook contact info so now everytime my girlfriend calls or texts me, his name and picture appear, instead of hers.

If i got into my facebook settings, DO NOT SYNC is the option selected. So why does it keep doing this?

One thing that the Desire Z does is it links certain contacts together. There should be a way to unlink it.

Try going to the Peoples app. There it should show the contacts and which ones are linked with which.

Also, check the phone numbers as well. If your girl friend's phone number appears in her brother's contact info, you should be able to remove it from the contacts.

You should also check your girl friend's contact information to see which photo appears under her name. HTC may automatically match the phone number and include that picture in her contact card in the Peoples app/widget.

nope. funny thing is my girlfriend's brother is not in my phone contacts (and thus does not appear in the People app). the contact for my girlfriend has her own name and picture. This is why i have no idea why my phone keeps associating her number to a facebook friend that is nowhere in my phone.
