Help how do I update baseband version

I upgraded to 2.2.1 and then went back down to 2.1 but my baseband version has not updated, I tried different update.zip downloads but when the phone begins to unzip it half way it comes up with a fail error, any ideas,, thanks

never mind, it was a matter of not using the right stuff, so here's what i used :

Odin 3- 1.6.1

file
sph-d700-d-dI18-8gb-rel.tar.md5 and

pit file:
victory_8g_100528.pit

that's it there are plenty of instruction on how to do it but this is
the combination that put everything back to original before installing

You don't need the pit file if you flash the full .tar file. What was wrong with the baseband version in the pick? You were on di07?
