Help how do I update firmware from ASUS?

How did you download it? It should be downloaded over the air and in that case it will be installed automatically once downloaded. To check go to settings > about tablet and your Android version number should be 4.2.1, which means you have Jelly Bean. If it isn't hit system update and then check update.

If your bootloader is unlocked, you won't receive OTA's any longer. If you are unlocked though and have a custom recovery, you can download the OTA from ASUS' website (unzip it once DL'd) and flash that file (the one that comes from the zip file) in recovery. It will say that it failed, but it doesn't actually fail.

No OTA Needed!!!
Found this tip: After you download the proper version firmware from Asus Support, Unzip(extract contents). After the unzip, copy contents from folder to a formatted MicroSD Card. Insert the card(with only the Zip file from folder on it) into tablet. When you start or open tablet it will pick up the update and automatically install it. Worked like a charm for me(both JB 4.2 & 4.2.1). Root, un-rooted it doesn't matter works for ALL.
