Help How do I "update" my Droid X?

Ok might be a stupid question, but with all this talk about new updates, how does one update their Droid X? is it automatic? does my X passively find an update and notifies me?

A box will automatically box up when an update is available giving you the option of installing or canceling.

Or you can go into settings, about phone, system updates. It will check for you and inform you of an available update or not.

Sit and wait. Its funny I've had 4 android phones and always read the forums for advice and stuff I may have missed but this is the most common post I see. There should be something on the box that says "your phone will tell you when it will upgrade"
SeriousLy, don't listen to the rumors just wait until one morning when your phone lets you know good things are here. You will drive your self crazy playing the ota update date game

Now if I could only take my advice, lol!
