How do mobile Gyroscopes and accelerometers work really

How they work. I couldn't find a better article.

That's for accelerometers.

Does this help you for gyroscopes?

The math is simple.

Distance

Speed = distance / time

Acceleration = distance / time^2

An accelerometer gives a measured force value. Along with time, you can work backwards through those equations to get speed and distance moved, in a 3 dimensional space.

I guess your answer is better than mine. When I'm asked how they work, I answer they work real good. :rolleyes:
