Do you have to put music on the micro SD card or can you put it directly on the phone? Also, if I want to change to a custom ringtone, does that have to be stored on my micro SD card? TIA.

How do you add music?

settings > applications > usb settings > mass storage
then plug in the usb cord
pull down the notification bar and click on the usb notification, click mount, then you can transfer any music to either the external sd or internal sd. same with ringtones
