Help How do you delete Built-In DroidX Apps?

I do not want a lot of these Apps that are Built into my Droid X including:
Amazon Kindle, Blockbuster, CityID, and 3G Mobile Hotspot.

Is there a way to delete them?

If not, how do I permanently stop them from running in the background and eating memory automatically?

1) acquire root ability
2) either purchase root explorer or use ADB
3) navigate to /system/app -- this is where all preinstalled applications are
4) do not just remove them. Create a backup of them so you can restore them if you have problems.

A few of the files I remember are:
amazonmp3_1.7.22_signed_zipaligned.apk
Blockbuster.apk
CityID.apk
Mynet.apk (Verizon's wifi hotspot app)
MyVerizon.apk (access your Verizon account details)
Vvm.apk (Verizon's Visual Voicemail app)

Why wouldn't you want Verizons Visual Voicemail app? Its a pretty cool feature. I tried google voice for vm, but it never got the text right.

Verizon charges for it, Google Voice doesn't. The text is just an extra feature of comedy haha. I usually don't bother with the text and just listen to the audio it emails me when I'm free to do so

I plan on using YouMail once my Droid comes in. I've used it before on my LG Voyager, but now that there's an actual visual app that I can use on my phone, I will be switching back to it. It's extremely useful and completely free. You guys should check it out if you haven't already. :)
