I can't seem to find the setting. I swear I've seen it before. I did start the update, but canceled it as soon as I saw it was downloading.would that be why I don't see the setting? I wanted to see if I the update was available a few days ago. I didn't know it would just start downloading it. I want to do factory restore before I do update because I'm rooted and done the lag fix.

Undo the lax fix first, just to make sure. DO NOT FLASH BACK TO STOCK WITH ODIN that will mess up you getting the update. As for factory reset, go into menu, settings, privacy. It is in there

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh thank you!

Will this completely restore my phone? or will it just undo my settings and stuff?

i basically want it to be exactly like it was when I bought it.

Resetting the phone to stock on my Captivate did not undo root or lagfix. I had to use Odin. Even after doing both, I still had to physically remove the folders for apps and my music/picures stayed intact.

Will this reset the ota download? I mean I started to download the ota, then cancelled it. Ive read that many people have bricked because they stopped in middle.

I wish I knew about Odin before, I used it to reset everything back to stock JF6 and now update fails at 50%.
Is there anyway to undo that?
