Help How do you find out what version your apps are.

I was trying to see what version Google maps navigation I have to see if I have the latest version but how do you see if you have the latest version of apps?
 
Have you been having problems with that app?
I've used it to map a couple of times and it hasn't worked for me either.
The destination wasn't the place that it was suppose to be.
 
I'm having problems with my Google Music app, it's not the usual one. It's like the tablet one, but it's kind of ghetto and I want the regular one. Anyone know how to get it?
