How do you Root your EVO?

[xcelprinting.com]

I am waiting on my EVO to arrive, and would like information on how do you root your EVO. I am not experienced in Linux, however I was able to follow directions and root my Pre.

Any and all information on best/safest method would be greatly appreciated.

There is a whole sub-forum for Rooting. It's called "All Things Root" I think.
