Help How do you stop those stupid programs from starting up on their own??

Is there a good app for this?? besides a task killer? I have tried startup auditor. that seems to work sometimes. but that media hub and some other programs just start right back up again draining the battery down or is there a way to just get rid of apps or programs that I don't even use?

I have a similar problem with preloaded programs I don't use like yahoo mail, qik video chat, and others. looking for a way to get rid of them without causing other problems.

You'll need to root your phone to uninstall bloatware. Thats the only way.

I would recommend this as well.

The other thing to consider is that just because they are open does not mean they are winning or using battery (something to check on).
