How do you update a rooted device?

Hey guys,

Just got a Samsung Galaxy S II today and I'm completely new to Android. I discovered my device is ALREADY rooted when I followed these instructions.

What I want to do now is install the latest Official ICS ROM for my Galaxy S2. I have no idea when my phone was first rooted - does this matter? Are the steps to install the latest official ICS different because my phone is already rooted?
 
there is no official release for the AT&T Galaxy S2. If you want ICS, you're going to have to settle for the leaked version, which was dev'd to work with the i777 over on XDA forums.

I'm not with AT&T - I have the international GT-I900.
 
I moved your thread over to the correct forum.. hopefully to get it some responses from others with the same device. :)
