Root How does one overclock the LG Volt for games

This has been successfully compiled into the CM12 ROM.

I tried pulling the boot img from that ROM and installing it on stock system, which failed miserably.

Bottom line, CM12 has OC, but no one has made a stock OC kernel yet. :/

BTW- since you're rooted and are asking root related questions, you need to start posting in the All Things Root forum.

Also, congrats on rooting your phone. The Win8 tablet worked then?

He could install the CM12 ROM though, if he wants OC bad enough. I just added more info to your response.
I would like to see someone compile a stock OC kernel, we have the information.

The kernel is the brain of the OS. You'll just flash it with Flashify, no data loss.
