How does this tablet look and other stuff

I'm really thinking about buying this tablet tomorrow and I'm mainly going to use it for movies... How does it look... Is it bright enough to watch movies on or will I have to squint...

Can this record in HD with the front and back cameras or is it only in the back? Does it do 720 or 1080?

Do online videos run smooth? How's online streams (like from justin.tv).

I hope the size is good for me... I like the 10 inch but I don't want to carry a big thing around...

it does terrible 720p. Need good 1080p hd Grab some Dslr like canon t2i.
Dont expect any mobile devices to have great hd it might be acceptable for some people.

In terms of streaming yeah i works good. Youtube runs smooth. Sometimes i watch HD on my home network(stream HD from my PC)

7 inch is the perfect size.. i cant imagine walking with 10 inch tablet. But if you're mainly going to use 10 inch at home it'll be alright.

Is it bright enough to watch movies on or will I have to squint: My wife watches Netflix on it, the video is smooth (no less smooth than Netflix on the Wii, smoother than Netflix on our Asus laptop PC.

Can this record in HD with the front and back cameras or is it only in the back?: This I can test and report back later.

Does it do 720 or 1080?: 720.

Do online videos run smooth?: Netflix & Youtube - very smooth.

How's online streams (like from justin.tv): We haven't tried that specific site. We can and report back later.

As for the brightness, it is probably not best if you are sitting outdoors in direct sunlight. However, it is doubtful that any tablet is going to be bright enough for such use. LCD is backlit. It is an inhearant limitation with LCD. However, relatively speaking the LCD screen on this tablet is brighter than other tablets I have looked at and used in the past. Also, it has an excellent viewing angle range. I think you will find it to be "bright" in comparison.

We went with 7" to maintain portability, large enough to enjoy, small enough for the wife to stuff in her purse.

Criticism of Samsung design - I wish that Samsung didn't insist on having a proprietary connector for the charger and HDMI. Samsung has traditionally been bad about this.
