Root How easy/hard is it to unroot?

So i just want to root the phone as of now and say down the line i want to sell it or need to return it back to VM how hard or easy would it be to unroot or is it possible?

Virgin doesn't care about rooted phones being returned and if you ever sold it just make sure that it's on stock rom, no need to get rid of root.
