Root How fatal was my error? [broken symlinks]

In a fit of bad judgment, I did something stupid and now I'm paying the price. My question is this: Is the mess I made easily fixable, or do I have no other option but to factory-reset and start from scratch?

Here's what I should not have done:

Even though my external SD card likes to spontaneously un-mount (thus making use of the camera and gallery annoying at times), I went ahead and used Link2SD to link most of my games to the card. "What's the worst that could happen?" I asked myself. "I'll get booted out of a game a few times and maybe lose a little progress?"

Ahem. In the middle of a game, the SD card spontaneously un-mounted. Now none of the linked apps will launch. That is, my phone will hang for a long moment until finally I get a message that says the app has crashed. Link2SD says they're not linked. None of them.

I haven't tried uninstalling the apps yet, because I'm not sure just how spectacularly that would fail. And via which app should I attempt the uninstallation? Task Manager? Link2SD?

So yeah, I seem to have broken the symlinks and I don't know how to fix them. I am prepared to wipe everything clean and start fresh if need be. All of my pictures are automatically uploaded to Dropbox and I can similarly back up data from more important apps. Also, I have not yet processed the JB update if that's relevant to how you'll frame your replies.

Thanks.

Open lnk2sd and select more try recreating mount scripts. Need to select same option when first set up. Could also try relinking. Also in same menu

I selected "Recreate Mount Scripts" and now it wants me to tell it how the SD card's second partition is formatted. Is that the larger part or the smaller part?

Thanks.

2nd partition is usually the smaller one. Need to select the same as what you did when you first used lnk2sd.
