My Samsung Admire averages 170-180 RAM with 60-70 RAM used. You can view your RAM by opening settings, applications, manage applications, then click running services. There should be a bar on the bottom of the screen displaying your RAM. Using the app called link2sd helpeds clearing up some space by allowing you to move apps pike superuser, busybox, and playstore to my sd card.

In the android OS, unused RAM = wasted RAM. Android Task Killers Explained: What They Do and Why You Shouldn't Use Them

I dont use task killers. And your statement "unused ram=wasted ram" is not entirely accurate. The more ram available on a phone the faster the phone can run and more applications cam run side by side. Its not wasted ram. Its open ram ready to be used when needed.
