Root How I fixed Market "Download Unsuccessful" :D

There have been MANY threads here and elsewhere on this subject, but none with a solution that worked for me(and many others). I tried factory resets, clearing cache/data on various apps, all the common fixes..to no avail. Hopefully this thread will help someone, or even many.

Now with this fix it seems that the Market app's download bar doesnt display correctly, but apps will still install.

I cannot take complete credit for this fix, as I found the info in this thread(although it is not listed as a Fix for this problem lol):

The fix is to change the permissions for vending.apk with Root Explorer as follows:
