Root How I Got WiFi Back.

After flashing the latest boot image from Shinru2004 some people lost wifi. I was one of them. So this is what I did.

D/L jmztaylor's rom over at XDA. Post #258

In CMW wipe DATA/Factory,Cache,Dalvik. Flash rom and fix permissions. Reboot

After this I lost root so I just reboot into CMW and flash superuser.zip on XDA. Post #1

Profit WiFi works . Shinru's kernel doesnt change.

You'll get two apps forclosing ( Wiper and Qualcomm Enhanced Location) . Just freeze them. I use Titanium Backup for this task.

And thats how I did it.

How's the rom for the sv? And is it lte based or regular?

ROM is LTE based. JMZTaylors ROM works really good. But, as of this posting I have flashed Angry Walrus. Works really good too.

I'm anxious to check it out, I'm loving this phone ..I forgot to ask though is it Ics based or Jelly Bean?

Is there any other way to get wifi back, I flashed Shinru's kernel and lost wifi also.

Nevermind, I flashed Gentle Breeze and I got Wifi back.
