How is your battery life?

I have most features off except lte, wifi, and location service and I would prefer them to stay enabled and not toggle them on and off.

All the apps I installed doesn't run in the background nor do they sync in the background except for google's apps and they hardly sync often.

After moderate usage the phone would barely last throughout the day and requires a charge overnight.

After very light usage (quick text, couple mins of phone call, no internet browsing) it would last almost a day and a half.

After a good hour or 2 of heavy gaming the phone will require a charge or it won't last for the remainder of the day.

How is the battery life on your galaxy light before it needs a recharge? What features do you have on and off?

WiFi - ON
Bluetooth - ON only when needed
Power saving mode - ON
Voice control - OFF
NFC - OFF

Check RUNNING apps under Application Manager and force Stop apps which are unnecessary.

If you want all the data you could ever have on your battery usage, I highly recommend the BetterBatteryStats app. It requires root to get the useful data, and it costs $2.89, but it's a very helpful tool if you want to analyze your battery usage.

Is there an extended battery out there that would work with this phone? For normal everyday use the battery is good enough for me. However sometimes when I'm out and about without my charger, I wanna play games or watch shows which tasks the battery a bit more.
