I'm only 522 miles from Memphis, so even though it said delivery on 9/1, I had high hopes when the Fedex truck pulled up at work this afternoon (2 days after shipping), but sadly, no package for me. I expected some tracking update in Indianapolis at least by now.

Yes, I also have concerns that it's sitting in a corner in Memphis gathering dust.
 
My Fedex information was just updated. Apparently my shipment left the Memphis Fedex facility today at 2:57 PM after arriving at the Fedex facility at 9:29 PM on the 29th, so it has been sitting in Memphis for about a day and a half. Now it says that it will be delivered by 7:00 PM tomorrow and I'm crossing my fingers that it will get here before I leave at 5:00 tomorrow. I guess when it is two day shipping, which mine was, they can let it sit.

The same thing for me. I have class at 6 which means I need it before 5! That will be a long 3 hour class if I don't get it before haha

It looks like 12 days is a good average on wait time, but it also seems like they are getting faster every day so I'm sure you won't have to wait too long. Mine will be here tomorrow!
 
so i still havent received an email from vzw but i went into the store today and talked to them and they gave me my tracking number, my phone shipped yesterday and is currently 19 miles from me, but its not supposed to be delivered until tomorrow by 7pm
 
i ordered my x on the 17th got an email confirmation on the 27th for delivery on the the 30th by 3pm. fed ex was here by 11am and i`m loving it. i gave my wife my droid 1 (rooted) and now helping her get used to the fun of owning a droid. :)
 
Mine was delivered today at 12:36 PM! Too bad I was at work, but my wife was home to sign for it. Perfect timing too, I just updated a 3rd party app on my jailbroken iPhone, and now it's stuck in a boot loop! Not a problem now, I'll have plenty of time to recover it now!
 
My Droid X arrive yesterday at the last possible moment. My original delivery date was Aug 31st (ordered online @noon PST on Aug 18). I had standard overnight delivery by 3 PM . Mine arrived at 3:05! That said, it was well worth the wait. I'm still trying to figure out my way around, but everything I have tried has been amazing! Be patient, don't expect your Droid before the estimated date. If you get it earlier, lucky you! Have fun when you get it!
 
it's official my droid is on the truck for delivery. Thing is it's not here yet and I'm getting concerned. What if the truck got into an accident or broke down, may be I should head out and look for it? The thought that it might be along side the road may be in a ditch??

I would head out right now! Maybe you should call the hospitals and see if a FEDEX driver has been admitted. Maybe call Verizon and order a replacement, just in case. I wouldn't hesitate too long.:)

whew.... it's here! and after giving the fed ex guy a hug I get to play with the new phone.

First post here! Been following this thread ever since I ordered my phone on the 26th. Just wanted to update everyone that I just got my shipment e-mail and the phone will be here by Friday!

Where do you live? I live in Maryland and ordered online on 8/25 and have not received any shipping/tracking information yet.
