Root How long does a Rom Manager Rom Backup Usually Take?

Hey y'all, how are ya? I'm writing because I'm trying to do a NAND backup using Rom Manager -- just to be safe -- but after the phone reboots, it's stuck on the white "htc EVO 4G" logo screen, and has been for a while. Do these backups usually take a while, or should I remove the battery?

My backup takes about 10 min or so, but its reboot process is like normal (1 min I guess?). Dunno what to tell you about battery pull

Well it sat there for an hour and didn't do a dang thing, so I pulled the battery and booted as normal. Blerg. Probably because I tried to install a new ROM through ROM Manager and it froze then too. Guess I can't use it now for some reason.
