How long does your hotspot last?

I have started testing the viability of using the TB for the company that I work for. We are mainly interested in the hotspot feature for our road warriors. I just wanted to see what kind of battery life people have gotten with the hotspot running. For my current test I did the following:

1: Charge phone until light turned green
2: Turned on Wifi hotspot, bluetooth is turned off
3: Unplugged phone from power
4: Connected with my laptop and doing my normal day's work

I started this at 9:00am today, so I will update later when I get my low battery warning.

I'd be interested in the results as well. Are you getting solid 4G? I ran it last week tethered to my laptop, lost about 5% battery in about 45 minutes with 4G signal.

I managed to get about 2.5 hours when my battery hit 30% (battery meter turned orange). At one point my connection dropped so I had to toggle airplane mode to get my LTE connection back. Otherwise, I had a consistent connection during the whole 2.5 hours. If my connection didn't drop, I would think that 3 hours of straight hotspot usage would be possible.
