How long is your charge?

Mine is already on 59 percent for the last 20 minutes, I feel charging is extremely slow on this. Or is it a defect?

Not sure if you're asking how long it takes to charge or how long a full charge last wiss "normal" use. I think you're refering to how long it takes to charge, so here are my thoughts in that vein. Remember that charging using a USB port will not charge as fast as using the wall charger. With the wall charger, I can charge the phone fully in less than 2 hours (not sure exactly how long, but after two hours I had charged from 9% battery to 100%). Based off that, the charge rate on my phone is about 10% every 12 minutes. By contrast USB charging is more like 10% every 20 minutes, or about half as fast. These are my observations, YMMV, but it should provide a reference point for what is possible for this phone.

He means that the usb cable being plugged into the computer will charge slower. This is usually the case with most things being charged from a computer, but I recently plugged my Vibrant into my computer and noticed it didn't seem to take any longer to charge than the stock wall charger.

You also have to remember that it also depends on on how much voltage is being supplied as well as how many USB devices you have plugged in.

My laptop charges slower then my Desktop (all items connected to the desktop are on a powered USB HUB other then the phone) My laptop will charge the phone unless I am charging my BB Tour as well as using a Portable Ext HDD, then it only maintains the battery.

Yea well the thing is i never charged it on usb. I did it through the wall adapter. Well see how it goes today. Ill drain the battery and charge again.

I have to ask if you have the car charger. My results are that (this is typical) car charger is at least twice as fast to charge, probably a little more. This phone is a battery hog, I would definetly recommend it.

I have the battery wigdet that shows I have 43% now and its been over 6 hrs that its been unplugged from being fully charged. I just noticed even though battery widget shows 43% the top battery icon shows more then 50% full, so which is right or wrong I am not sure.

When I had the cliq it would fully charge when I unplugged it, it would show 100% but when I unplug the vibrant when it indicated me battery charged., It was showing 98% on the wigdet.So I am just confused there.
