How long should I charge the first time?

Hey guys, I just got my Droid today so I decided to join this forum to keep up on the news on it. I was just wondering how long I'm supposed to charge it the first time before using it. Any info you have would be great. Thanks.

Charge it until it is full. The lock screen says "Charged" when it is fully charged.

So it's not neccessary to charge it for like a day like I used to have to do with phones in the past?

You can just charge as needed.. Lion batteries don't need to be charged for a certain amount of time the time or anything.

Related question: my Droid Eris needed several full discharges (read phone off) to get the battery meter to read accurately. Does the Droid need to do this nonsense?

It's good to charge it all the way up and use it until it's empty to calibrate the sensor once every three months from what I have read.
