Help How many apps?

[skairdykat]

How many apps can you generally fit on the phone? I have only like 10 apps on it and when i try to put more on it comes up memorey low or something like that. If I were to get a say 8gb memory card would that solve the problem or do the apps go onto the internal memeory anyway?

Thanks

You'd need app2sd or link2sd and partition your SD card. I'm about to try this myself so will post my results later.

Older verisons of Android can't save apps on external media, <2.1.

You have to use likn2sd or apps2sd, or use a Custom ROM , that has 2.2 or 2.3 to save the apps on a external media.

The phone has 138MB of internal memoery, but already comes with preinstalled apps, leaving only ~60MB left to spare.

I've updated it to 2.1 a few weeks ago via the LG website. If i get the apps2sd or link2sd will that work?

Thanks
